Chatswood Sky Portal for Vivid Sydney

When Willoughby City Council wanted to create an interactive digital display at Chatswood Interchange as part of Vivid Sydney, they turned to Novatech for the production and rigging expertise they needed. Our qualified riggers hung a giant screen 10 metres above the heads of shoppers below, with safety being paramount for this 23-night public display. Beneath the Sky Portal, visitors were able to see themselves mirrored on the screen above as they swam in the Great Barrier Reef, wandered among icebergs and walked through wetlands as they were transported to another time and place through the magic of light, sound and vision.
