Dom Dolla Homecoming Show at Marvel Stadium

Home News Dom Dolla Homecoming Show at Marvel Stadium

Australian electronic music artist Dom Dolla returned to Melbourne for a huge Australian-exclusive homecoming show at Marvel Stadium, performing to more than 60,000 fans for a one-night-only stadium production.

Having previously supported Dom Dolla performances, Novatech was proud to reunite with Gig Control and the wider production team to provide the expansive ROE Visual LED pillars across the stage along with video, camera and show communications support for this Melbourne-exclusive event.

Productions of this size require extensive coordination across multiple technical disciplines, suppliers and touring teams, all working within the operational requirements of a major stadium setup. Novatech’s crew travelled interstate from Adelaide to Melbourne to support the delivery, bringing specialist technical teams and a substantial inventory of cutting edge technology.

Expansive ROE Visual LED for a 60,000+ audience

A major component of Novatech’s scope was the supply and technical delivery of the expansive LED screen package used throughout the stadium production, featuring a custom masking behind the transparent LED pillars that featured the epic “burn” effect at the start of the show.

The large-format ROE Visual LED screens created a powerful visual canvas for the show, ensuring content remained impactful across the scale of Marvel Stadium and visible to audiences across the venue.

One of the standout moments came at the opening of the show, with a dramatic visual “burn” effect ‘into’ the transparent ROE Visual Vanish LED screens made possible by coordinated laser mapping onto the screen that triggered content to ‘reveal’ the lighting from behind. This helped launch Dom Dolla’s performance and establish the scale and energy of the production from its first moments.

The transparent characteristics of ROE Visual Vanish allowed the creative and technical teams to integrate lighting, staging and video into a layered visual environment, supporting a dynamic stadium show design without compromising sightlines or visual impact.

Integrated video, camera and communications support

Alongside the LED screen systems, Novatech provided video and camera production support throughout the performance, helping deliver live visual content across the stadium-scale screen configuration.

With multiple departments, suppliers and technical teams operating simultaneously across a large venue footprint, Novatech supplied communications support to help keep production teams connected throughout rehearsals and the live show.

This integrated approach brought LED, video, camera and communications expertise together within one Novatech delivery team, helping simplify coordination within an already complex production environment.

Working closely with Gig Control and the broader production team throughout the Melbourne delivery, supporting an established creative and technical vision while adapting our systems and workflows to the requirements of Marvel Stadium.

For Novatech, the project also demonstrated the flexibility of our event technology capability. From our Adelaide headquarters, our people and technology regularly travel across Australia to support major concerts, festivals, sporting events and immersive productions.

Dom Dolla’s Marvel Stadium homecoming show was another opportunity to combine high-performance event technology with experienced people, detailed preparation and collaborative delivery at a significant scale.
