Matthew Reed Business Services Manager

Matthew knows his way around numbers, which is a good thing given he oversees Novatech’s financial operations. Before joining the team, he built more than 15 years of experience working in the public sector.

While numbers are a big part of the job, it’s the people side of his role that Matthew enjoys most. “Numbers generally don’t talk back to you, but engaging with people and using financial analysis as a platform for communication and sound decision making allows me to earn my stripes as a Novatech team member.”

Away from the spreadsheets, Matthew is more likely to be found on two wheels. “I am a dedicated cycling ‘weekend warrior’ and often lay claim to the ‘hairiest legs in Lycra on Mt Lofty’.” He’s also an obsessive curator of the backyard footy field and cricket pitch. “I even begrudgingly enjoy the coldest of days when I am picked to run out against the Crows in the weekend backyard footy match.”
